Hartwick College hired former player John Scott as the head coach of Division I men’s soccer program, athletic director Debbie Warren announced Tuesday.
Scott, the seventh head coach in the program’s 54-year history, spent the last nine seasons as an assistant coach at D-I Binghamton University.
A native of Banff, Scotland, Scott played 18 games as a freshman for Hartwick in 1996. He had a goal and five assists before returning to Scotland to compete on the semi-professional level.
