---- — Bill and Corky Oliver of Delhi will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary in July.
Their children will host an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at 54 West Peaks Brook in Delhi to mark the occasion.
The couple met while working at a hotel in Hollywood Beach, Fla.
They married in East Stroudsburg, Pa., on July 10, 1952, and moved to Delhi to set up housekeeping. They raised a family of eight children there.
Bill is retired from Delaware Academy, where he was director of transportation.
Corky retired from the State University College of Technology at Delhi, where she worked in food services.
The couple winter in Florida and travel across the country to visit their children and 19 grandchildren. The family has a reunion in Delhi each year around July 4.
