The Rev. William Robert Thompson and his wife, Selina, of West Virginia recently celebrated their 50th anniversary with friends and family at Berean Independent Baptist Church in Fort Ashby, W.Va.
They were married at Faith Baptist Church in Binghamton on Sept. 16, 1961.
The couple served 31 years at First Baptist Church in Schenevus.
The couple have four children, Jim and Katherine Mountain of Liverpool; Matthew and April Thompson of Smyrna; Daniel and Tamera Thompson of Cumberland, Md.; and Nick and Sarah Miner of Newfield. They have six grandchildren.
