Duane and Mary (Downie) McMorris of Otego recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married April 8, 1962, in the Otego Methodist Church.
Mr. McMorris was employed by Wilber National Bank for more than 37 years, and he retired from the Trust Department in 1994.
Mrs. McMorris retired in 2000 from Unatego Central School after serving as the Unadilla Elementary office secretary for 20 years.
They have two daughters, Susan (Thomas) Slovic and Stephanie (Brennan) O'Hara; and four grandchildren, Micaela and Jared Slovic and Bryn and Ronan O'Hara.
The couple celebrated their 50th anniversary with family and friends at an open house April 7 in the Otego Methodist Church fellowship hall.
