Herbert and Mary Hait of Relay Road, Hobart, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at the Delhi Community Church on county Route 20 in Delhi.
Mary and Herbert married Jan. 20, 1952, at the Hobart United Methodist Church in Hobart. Harold Hait, brother of the groom, and Margie (Miller) Hait, cousin of the bride, were honor attendants.
Herbert and Mary were registered Holstein breeders with the Relay Farm prefix and owners of the Hidden Inn Restaurant in South Kortright their working years. They volunteer as 4-H leaders and at their churches in Delaware County and in their winter home in Florida.
The couple have four daughters, Patricia, Laurel, Allison and Christine; and nine grandchildren.
