Howard and Helen Weerheim planned to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary during the week of Aug. 13 with their family.

They were married Aug. 16, 1947, at the First Presbyterian Church in Delhi.

Their son, Elwood and his wife, Salinda from Minoa, daughter, Marlene and her husband, Ron from Mesa, Ariz., son, Keith and his wife, Karen from Lago Vista, Texas, daughter, Lorna from New Hope, Pa.; and grandchildren, Ehren and friend Sarah Colby from Salt Lake City, Utah, Kimberly, Michelle from Minoa, Christopher and Ciara from New Hope, Pa.; and great-grandchildren, Michael and Joey from Minoa, as well as a few other family members from the area, were expected to attend the celebration.
