---- — David and Barbara Close of Otego recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a week of gatherings, outings and a dinner given by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at Alfresco's Italian Bistro in Oneonta.
The couple were married Dec. 30, 1951, at the First United Methodist Church in Oneonta.
